Caves Bohigas once again organizes a concert in the Can Macià chapel

08/10/2018

The concert will be performed by the duo formed by Edmon Bosch on cello and Marc Jiménez on accordion.

Next Friday, October 19, at 8:00 p.m., Caves Bohigas organizes, once again, a concert in the Can Macià family chapel. The concert will be performed by the duo formed by Edmon Bosch, on cello, and Marc Jiménez, on accordion, who will perform a repertoire of songs from before, now and forever, with works by A. Piazzolla, Rafael Martínez i Valls, Consuelo Velázquez and traditional Catalan songs.

AcordCello was born at the beginning of last year and its goal is to transmit emotions, through the cello and the accordion, giving the necessary nuances, finally, transporting each of the people who are part of the public to places that, often, not even we get to imagine. Create an atmosphere with the objective that, what one day an author captured on paper, reaches every corner with sensitivity and respect for the original work.

The score and the long road to its interpretation: This is our reason for being as professionals - they assure - and, with it, the desire to provide a sensory experience that awakens a world of memories and experiences as intimate as they are extraordinary.

Caves Bohigas sees in AcordCello innovation as well as tradition; two different instruments, one for wind and the other for strings, which, thanks to the experience of Edmon and Marc, create an exceptional pairing. With the success of the first concert, Caves Bohigas wants to take culture further, with this different, traditional and innovative bet.

The concert will last approximately 45 minutes, with an intermission of 20 minutes where a glass of Bohigas cava will be served. The price of the ticket is € 5, please confirm your attendance by enoturisme@bohigas.es or by calling 608 503 486. Capacity is limited.
