The Bohigas Brut Nature Reserva cava has obtained a silver medal at this year's Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships (CSWWC), internationally recognized as one of the most important cava and champagne competitions.
The list of winners has recently been published on the contest website and, on paper, in the Tom Stevenson's Champagne & Sparkling Wine Guide 2017 (available through Amazon). Specifically, the Bohigas Brut Nature Reserva cava has been distinguished with a silver medal, along with some thirty Spanish cavas.
At CSWWC all products are qualified following a strict blind tasting procedure, with experts Tom Stevenson, Essi Avellan MW and Tony Jordan in front of the competition.
