The prestigious North American magazine Wine Spectator has selected Caves Bohigas as one of the four best Spanish wineries, which are increasing the level and quality of Spanish cava.
In a report entitled '' Spanish Leaders, Four wineries that are raising the bar for the country'ssparklers '', Wine Spectator highlights the centennial history of Bohigas and its connection with the territory, by producing all the wine and cava, alone, with grapes of autochthonous varieties. The report - signed by Alison Napjus - also includes Codorníu, Raventós y Blanc and Recaredo Mata Casanovas.
Bohigas is currently present in a total of 20 countries around the world and business abroad accounts for 81% of total sales. For the foreign market, Bohigas is part of Terra Nostra de Vinos, a consortium made up of five wineries with different denominations of origin.
