Three Bohigas sparkling wines recognised at the International Wine Challenge 2026

Bohigas Extra Brut Gran Reserva 2021, Bohigas Brut Rosat and Noa de Bohigas have been recognised in one of the world’s most prestigious wine competitions.

Caves Bohigas has once again gained international recognition with three sparkling wines awarded at the 2026 edition of the International Wine Challenge (IWC), one of the world’s most prestigious and rigorous wine competitions. Held annually in London, the competition brings together international experts who blind taste thousands of wines from more than 50 countries.

Among the awarded wines, Bohigas Extra Brut Gran Reserva 2021 stood out with 93 points, praised for its elegant and complex profile, featuring notes of lemon and white peach alongside subtle autolytic and toasted nuances on the finish.

Bohigas Brut Rosat was also recognised, receiving 92 points. Judges highlighted its bright and fresh style, with aromas of white strawberry, apple blossom and white peach, leading to a subtle and balanced finish.

Finally, Noa by Bohigas achieved 91 points thanks to its aromatic expression of honeysuckle and green apple, combined with a fresh palate and layered texture.

These distinctions reinforce Caves Bohigas’ commitment to quality, authenticity and the production of sparkling wines that faithfully express their origin while standing among the finest sparkling wines on the international stage.
