December awards in Bohigas

Bohigas cavas have obtained distinctions in three of the most outstanding competitions.

This December has become the "December Awards" in Bohigas, since 6 distinctions have been received from three of the most outstanding competitions: International Wine Challenge, 50 Great Cavas and Magnum Awards.

2020 has been a year of uncertainty, where many of the wine and cava contests and contests have been postponed due to confinement. This has caused its delay, causing the qualifying tastings to be carried out blindly during the last months of the year and, consequently, the results are published in the month of December. The awarded products are the following:

Cava Brut Reserva Magnum: Gold medal in Magnum Awards 2020.
Cava Brut Nature Reserva: Silver medal in the 50 Great Cavas 2021 contest.
Cava Rosat: Silver medal in the 50 Great Cavas 2021 contest.
Cava Noa: Silver medal in the 50 Great Cavas 2021 contest.
Cava Brut Reserva: Silver medal in International Wine Challenge.
Cava Brut Nature Gran Reserva: Bronze medal in International Wine Challenge.

Apart from these awards, Bohigas has also received other distinctions during 2020 - as it was already communicated a few weeks ago -. This is the case of the valuable scores for Bohigas wines in the Catalunya Wine Guide, all of them surpassing the excellent: 9.27 for Udina white wine, 9.03 for Xarel • lo white wine, 9.64 for Inicis red wine and 9.54 for Garnatxa Negra red wine.

All these medals and scores encourage the winery to continue believing in the product it produces and to continue working diligently to stay on the highest podiums, as it has been doing in recent years.
