The Vinyala Show has been organized for six years by the Òdena City Council in collaboration with the Vinyala Brotherhood to promote the gastronomic offer of Òdena and highlight the autochthonous variety of the vinyala snail.

This year, Bohigas has once again participated in the traditional Fira de la Vinyala de Òdena, organized for six years by the City Council -in collaboration with the Confraria de la Vinyala- to promote the gastronomic offer of Òdena and the region and put in value the autochthonous variety of the vinyala snail.

The show was held last Sunday, September 18th, with the participation of about fifty restaurateurs, producers and companies, who offered attendees tastings of dishes with vinyala, wine tastings, arts and crafts samples, children's activities or the harvest festival.

Vinyala is a variety of snail typical of Anoia and highly appreciated from a culinary point of view. As its name indicates, vinyala lives in the land of vineyards, although in other parts of Catalonia it is known as a Christian snail or Jewish snail.
