Next Friday, May 25, at 8:00 p.m., Caves Bohigas organizes a classical music concert in the Can Macià family chapel. The concert, which is free and open to all upon registration, will be performed by the musicians Edmon Bosch, on the cello, and Joan Mestre, on the violin, who will perform some of the greatest exponents of classical music, with pieces by Mozart, Händel and Bach.

When a musician faces a score, it is not enough for him to know what it says. Not even in recognizing all the notes, chords, rhythms, harmonies, etc. Her job consists of knowing how to interpret, putting the talent and practice of a handful of years of studies, hours and efforts at the service of those who listen to her. The score and the long road to its interpretation: this is the reason for being of the musicians and, with it, the desire to provide everyone who listens to them with a sensory experience that awakens a world of memories and experiences both intimate and extraordinary.

Can Macià, well of artistic and historical interest
Caves Bohigas organizes this activity with the aim of promoting culture and opening the doors of the Can Macià family chapel. With more than 800 years old, the Can Macià estate is classified as being of historical and artistic interest and is appreciated for the beauty of its buildings. Around the main house -which maintains the authentic Catalan farmhouse style- there are the different spaces of the winery and cellars, as well as the chapel, which was built in 1927 by Joan Vives and dedicated to the Virgen de la Merced. In addition, the chapel, which is in the neo-Gothic style, contains frescoes by Josep Pey, author of the paintings of the Parliament of Catalonia, and offers very special acoustics for musical auditions.

The concert will last approximately 45 minutes and, to attend, please confirm your attendance by e.salas@bohigas.es or by calling 608 503 486.
