Participation in three major international events reinforces the winery’s export-driven strategy.

Caves Bohigas has started 2026 with an intense international agenda, taking part in three of the most important trade fairs in the wine sector: Barcelona Wine Week, Wine Paris and Prowein Düsseldorf. These professional events have provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen the brand’s presence in international markets and to establish new business contacts.

The first stop was Barcelona Wine Week, held from 2 to 4 February at the Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona. This fair has established itself as the leading showcase for Spanish wine, bringing together more than 1,300 wineries and a broad representation of appellations from across the country. It is also a key meeting point for international buyers and distributors, making it a strategic platform for business development and global promotion.

Just a few days later, Caves Bohigas travelled to the French capital to take part in Wine Paris (from 9 to 11 February), one of the benchmark trade fairs at both European and international level. The event brings together thousands of producers, importers and industry professionals from more than 150 countries, positioning itself as a prime space for networking and business opportunities.

Finally, the trade fair calendar concluded with participation in Prowein Düsseldorf, held from 15 to 17 March, one of the world’s most important events for the wine and spirits sector. Each year, it gathers professionals from around the globe and offers a comprehensive overview of market trends, as well as a top-tier platform for international expansion.

Participation in these three fairs has enabled Caves Bohigas to continue expanding its network of business contacts and to strengthen relationships with importers and distributors in different markets, thanks in large part to Terra Nostra Vinos, a consortium of different Spanish wineries that export jointly. In this regard, it is worth noting that the winery currently exports approximately 85% of its production, highlighting its strong international focus.

With its presence in Barcelona, Paris and Düsseldorf, Caves Bohigas reaffirms its commitment to the international promotion of its wines and cavas, consolidating its position in key global markets and opening up new opportunities for the future.
