Bohigas at The Wall Street Journal
We appear in the prestigious New York newspaper as one of the cavas recommended to drink on New Year's Eve
The Wall Street Journal, and specifically its expert wine columnist Lettie Teague, made a short selection of recommended sparkling wines for New Year's Eve in an article called "A Bubbly for Every Budget: Your New Year's Bottle Buying Guide". Among them are two sparkling wines from the United States, two French champagnes and a cava; the Bohigas Brut Reserva.
The journalist Lettie Teague, who differentiates sparkling wines into 5 price ranges, has tasted all the sparkling wines listed in the article and considers them very good options to enjoy New Year's Eve, whether to accompany the entire dinner or just to toast. In the $10-$20 sparkling wine section we find the Cava Bohigas Brut Reserva, described as "bright, lively and fresh" and which is presented as a quality option with an affordable price.
This is the fragment of the article referring to the Bohigas Brut Reserva cava:

Maybe you’re hosting a New Year’s party and need enough reasonably priced bottles to please a sizable crowd. Often as not, under these circumstances, I’ll look for a good Cava. The price-quality ratio for these Spanish sparkling wines can be quite good.
One of my favorite affordable options, the Bohigas Brut Reserva Cava, is bright, lively and quite crisp. (Think: green apple and pear.) Produced from native varieties such as Xarello just outside the Penedès region of Spain via the traditional (aka Champagne) method, this wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and is aged at least 18 months in the cellar before release. In other words, a fair amount of time and work goes into making this very reasonably priced wine. The Casanovas family has been producing cava for nearly 100 years; Maria Casanovas Giró, the great-granddaughter of winery founder Josep Maria Bohigas, oversees both the winemaking and the estate.
